St Aloysius Cricket Academy

Since its inception in 1996, Karavali Cricket Academy has positioned itself as one of the premier coaching institutions in Southern India, with coaching camps in cricketing cities like Mangaluru, Udupi, Bengaluru and Kodagu in Karnataka state, and Kasaragod, Thalasseri and Ernakulam in the state of Kerala.

It got affiliated to Karnataka State Cricket Association since the commencement year itself and has since been working for the benefit of cricket players and cricket enthusiasts with a desire to develop first class cricketers.

Former India player and wicket keeper in the World Cup winning Indian team of 1983, Syed Kirmani, initially headed the coaching faculty. Other cricketing greats like Ramakant Achrekar (who coached Sachin Tendulkar), E. A. S. Prasanna, P. V. Shashikanth, David Johnson, Salim Durrani, Javagal Srinath, V. B. Chandrashekhar, L. Sivaramakrishnan, S. Vishwanath and others nurtured our youngsters during the various cricketing camps successfully run by us.

KCC has provided its mentees with excellent international exposure with cricketing tours to Sri Lanka, UAE and Australia. Our boys have also excelled at domestic competitions.

Bowler S. Sreesanth, a national cricketer, had trained at Karavali Cricket Academy in Ernakulam.

Vision

To provide world class facilities, coaching and guidance to aspiring, passionate and talented crickets in the region to prepare for professional sporting career.

To uncover and foster the hidden talent in the coastal plains of Dakshina Kannada district. This region has contributed many fine sportspersons in multiple disciplines to the Indian sporting scene.

We believe, that together with top class amenities and under the able guidance of our talented coaches, we can help budding cricketers with their technique, skills, fitness and mental preparation.

To enable at least 2 cricketing talents from the region to play for Karnataka state in next 5 years.
